So anyone tried these on their K?
I was very happy with the CS Wunderlich tank protectors, but they won't look as great on the Orange K13 as it did on the Bumble bee K12.
What are you guys using currently?

I had on my HP2 Sport and really liked those. Now it's new fairing and i already ordered new Stomp Grips. There is model specially for KS. Highly recommend.

Have to wait up to 8 weeks...
These parts are not very popular, under BMW owners here in South Africa.
Perhaps it's more a case that they simply just don't know about them?

I think it's just like that. I heard from those something like year ago. Anyhow, there is not special model for HP2 Sport and i ordered universal one. I didn't cut anything and it did come over carbo/white line at tank. First i thought i made mistake, but after while i liked it. It looks like real race thing. When i saw my bike repaired with new fairing, first thought was that there is missing Stomp Grips.
Those helps a lot at braking. I can take weight away from my wrists with knees so much better than without those.

A few friends I ride with regularly stopped using stomp grip when it started destroying their leathers and/or textiles. No one here had bad experience like that?

I have stomp grip on my K1300r and have had no real problems with it. It does seem to get rather black from my leathers but they seem fine. Not sure how easy it would be to remove if I needed to though?

you can get black stomp grips also, if it suits better

That is exactly why I stopped using them. My BMW riding jeans are ruined.
